Service Alert – Thanksgiving Day – 11/22/18

Dear NYC Ferry Rider,

We will be operating on a weekend schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22.

Midtown shuttle bus service will not operate on this day and will resume on Friday, November 23.

Service Alert – South Williamsburg Landing Closure 11/23 – 11/25

Dear NYC Ferry Rider,

Due to necessary maintenance on the barge, the South Williamsburg ferry landing will be closed from Friday, November 23 through Sunday, November 25. During this time, all ferry service on the East River route will bypass South Williamsburg in both directions.

Free shuttle bus service will be provided between South Williamsburg (at Kent Ave. in front of the landing) and North Williamsburg (on N. 6th St. near the ferry landing) and will run approximately every 20 minutes. Shuttle bus schedule information is available here.

Service Update – BAT/Sunset Park Temporary Closure

Due to necessary maintenance to the Brooklyn Army Terminal/Sunset Park ferry landing and to replace the barge, the South Brooklyn and Rockaway routes are bypassing the stop in both directions and Rockaway route ferries are being temporarily re-routed to Bay Ridge.

We anticipate the BAT/Sunset Park landing will be closed for 3-4 weeks while we complete this work. We will be sure to keep you updated on our progress.

The new barge will be configured to accommodate more vessels simultaneously and will have wider gangways and automatic ramps to help ease the boarding process for riders.

We apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, a free shuttle bus is available between BAT/Sunset Park and Bay Ridge.
