Service Alert – All Routes – Delays & Long Wait Times – 7/13/19

NYC Ferry is experiencing delays. To see which boats are affected, visit the NYC Ferry app for real-time boat tracking. We are also seeing high passenger volume along the ER and RW routes. Riders may not be able to board the first boat of their choice and may experience longer wait times.

Service Alert – Weekend Rockaway Service

Heading to the beach this weekend? We see the longest wait times to Rockaway between 11 AM – 1 PM, and from Rockaway between 4 -7 PM. Please plan ahead and consider traveling outside these peak times. Thanks for your patience.

SERVICE ADVISORY – Red Hook/Atlantic Basin – 7/13 & 7/14

Please be advised that due to the Formula E event in Red Hook this weekend (Saturday, 7/13 and Sunday, 7/14) we anticipate increased ridership on the South Brooklyn route. Additionally, all NYC Ferry riders traveling to and from the Red Hook ferry landing are required to undergo event security screening or be escorted to/from the ferry landing regardless of event attendance. We strongly encourage riders to allow for extra time and prepare for possible delays due to the required security screening process.

SERVICE ALERT – Hunters Point South Landing Closure – 7/16

Due to planned maintenance on the barge, the Hunters Point South ferry landing will be closed during non-peak hours on Tuesday, July 16 from 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM. During this time, all ferry service on the East River route will bypass Hunters Point South in both directions and service will be re-routed to the Long Island City ferry landing at Gantry State Plaza Park.
