From Monday, September 28^th to Friday, October 2^nd, NYC Ferry will operate a holiday schedule for Sukkot. This schedule increases capacity across several routes in anticipation of higher ridership. Here’s everything you need to know about this schedule change.

• The Rockaway-Soundview route will operate more frequently throughout the day. The Rockaway-Soundview route will make stops every 45 minutes in both directions to better serve high ridership in the afternoon.
• The East River route will always operate as two separate routes during Sukkot. If your destination is not on your route, you can make a free transfer at DUMBO, Wall St/Pier 11, or East 34^th
  • East River A: Wall St/Pier 11 → DUMBO/Fulton Ferry → North Williamsburg → Hunters Point South → East 34^th Street
  • East River B: Wall St/Pier 11 → DUMBO/Fulton Ferry → South Williamsburg → Greenpoint → East 34^th Street

• At most times, the South Brooklyn route will not stop at Governors Island and extend to Sunset Park/BAT and Bay Ridge. Please review schedules to plan your trip.
  • The South Brooklyn route will operate between East 34^th Street and Governors Island from approximately 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. At all other times, the South Brooklyn route will not stop at Governors Island and extend to Sunset Park/BAT.
  • South Brooklyn Extension: Bay Ridge → Sunset Park/BAT → Red Hook/Atlantic Basin → Atlantic Avenue/BBP Pier 6 → Wall St/Pier 11 → Corlears Hook → East 34^th Street

• The Governors Island-Pier 11 shuttle will begin operating at 9:50 a.m. Riders coming from other routes must transfer at Wall St/Pier 11 to access Governors Island. Governors Island closes to the public at 6 pm, so please note the final departure times below.
  • Final departure from Wall St/Pier 11 to Governors Island – 4:21 p.m.
  • Final departure from Governors Island to Wall St/Pier 11 – 5:15 p.m.
• Departure times on the Astoria route will change. Please review schedules to plan your trip from September 28^th to October 2^nd.
