After Mayor Bill de Blasio announced plans for “NYC Ferry,” a new Facebook page and website, ferry.nyc, posted several videos of the boats traversing New York waterways. The ferry will be launching on May 1 with two routes — the brand new Rockaway Route and the existing East River Route. Each route will cost just $2.75 a ride and includes free transfers.
