Service Advisory: Memorial Day & Rockaway Route
Dear NYC Ferry Rider,
As we approach Memorial Day Weekend, we want to ensure that you have an enjoyable and smooth experience this weekend and beyond.
Our summer schedule is in full-swing, so ferries will be running more frequently on all lines and with more capacity overall. Schedules are available on the NYC Ferry Mobile App or online at ferry.nyc.
As a reminder, we will be operating on a weekend schedule on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28th).
A note on Rockaway weekend service, the Rockaway weekend shuttle bus schedule has been posted (Bus Schedule). If you’re planning to take a trip to Rockaway Beach this summer, please be advised that capacity on the Rockaway weekend shuttle buses is significantly limited. Alternatively, the nearest beach is just three blocks away at Beach 108th Street and Shore Front Parkway. If Jacob Riis Park or other beaches along the Rockaway peninsula are your destinations, we recommend riders utilize the Q22 MTA bus (which runs every 10 minutes), located two blocks south of the landing at Beach 108th St and Rockaway Beach Blvd.
