Service Alert – All Routes – US Coast Guard Security Closure – 5/16/19 & 5/17/19

Dear NYC Ferry Rider,

The US Coast Guard will be enforcing a security zone in the East River, in the vicinity of the Wall Street Heliport on Thursday, May 16, from approximately 5:25 pm to 6:10 pm, and on Friday, May 17, from approximately 8:45 am to 9:30 am. Delays and temporary closures of Pier 11/ Wall Street are expected during these times.

Closures are dictated by the U.S Coast Guard and U.S. Secret Service and times are subject to change without notice.

Regular service updates will be shared on ferry.nyc and the NYC Ferry app when we receive official notice.

We ask riders to plan accordingly and keep in mind that service interruptions can occur without notice.

NYC Ferry will also begin serving the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with a new stop along the Astoria Route beginning Monday, May 20th.
