Ride the NYC Ferry to Brooklyn’s COVID-19 Vaccination Hub

You can now ride the NYC Ferry directly to Brooklyn’s first mass vaccination site. 

The Brooklyn Army Terminal is one of the city’s first vaccination hubs to launch in effort to speed up the vaccination rollout. Beginning January 10th, the hub will be open 24/7 for vaccination appointments for those who qualify. The site is conveniently located off of the NYC Ferry Brooklyn Army Terminal/Sunset Park landing via the South Brooklyn route.

The vaccination hub will operate by reservation only. Appointments can be made staring on Saturday, January 9th. You will need to complete the NYS COVID-19 Vaccine Form in order to get vaccinated. In addition, you will need to bring proof of employment, such as an employee ID card, a letter from your employer or affiliated organization, or a recent pay stub to prove eligibility.

Eligibility

All New Yorkers in Phase 1A and Phase 1B are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This includes:

  • Health Care Workers
  • Residents and Staff in Certain Group Living Facilities
  • Adults ages 75 and older
  • Grocery Workers
  • First Responders and Support Staff for First Responder Agencies
  • Corrections
  • P-12 Schools, College and Child Care
  • Public Transit
  • Homeless Shelters

Hours: Sunday, January 10: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.; starting Monday, January 11 at 10 a.m.: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Appointment requests accepted starting Saturday, January 9.
