Chip City
North Williamsburg
You may have seen the Chip Mobile traveling through the city streets, but did you know that Chip City has five brick-and-mortar locations? The newest Chip location recently opened in Williamsburg, just one block from the North Williamsburg ferry landing.
Chip City serves up four flavors per day and has a rotating menu each week. The line up for National Cookie Day includes Chocolate Chip, Fa La La La Fetti, Triple Chocolate, and Peanut Butter and Jelly. While there’s plenty of unique flavors to choose from, we absolutely love the classic Chocolate Chip which is typically available every day.
For National Cookie Day, Chip City is giving away a FREE cookie with every purchase to the first 100 customers at each of its locations.

Milk Bar
Stuyvesant Cove
Christina Tosi, a James Beard award-winning pastry chef, opened the first Milk Bar 12 years ago under David Chang’s culinary brand, Momofuku. You may know Tosi from the television show, MasterChef, where she hosted cooking challenges alongside Gordon Ramsey. Milk Bar has quite a few popular products including birthday cakes, truffles, pies, and the famous cereal ice cream. But today, it’s all about the cookies!
Take the NYC Ferry Soundview route to Stuyvesant Cove and head over to the Milk Bar East Village location. Once you arrive, choose between cookies like Blueberry and Cream, Chocolate Confetti, and Chocolate Chip Marshmallow — just to name a few. If you can’t decide, consider purchasing a tin of assorted flavors!

Levain Bakery
North Williamsburg
Lavain founders Constance McDonald and Pamela Weekeshas have been baking up tasty treats since 1995. While the bakery offers a variety of goods, it’s the oversized cookies that Lavain is most known for. The cookies weigh in at 6oz each, the perfect size to keep the cookies crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.
Some cookies you can expect to find at Lavain include the Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip, and the signature Chocolate Chip Walnut. Everything is freshly baked on-site each day and the leftovers are donated to charity each night — a practice that has been in place since the bakery opened 25 years ago.
To celebrate National Cookie Day, visit the Williamsburg location by taking the East River route to the North Williamsburg ferry landing.

Ovenly
Greenpoint & North Williamsburg
Ovenly is an award-winning bakery founded and led by women. With a focus on radical responsibility, Ovenly uses quality ingredients that are sourced from ethical, sustainable, and small businesses. The bakery offers gluten-free and vegan cookie options that are loved by those with dietary restrictions — and without! Our favorite is the Hot Chocolate Cookie filled with milk chocolate and ooey-gooey vegan marshmallows.
Stop in to one of Ovenly’s locations today to get your National Cookie Day fix. Both the North Williamsburg and Greenpoint locations are within a short walking distance of the NYC Ferry landing!
