New route, new borough, new river.
We’re thrilled to announce that NYC Ferry has expanded service to all five boroughs. The St. George Route is the first NYC Ferry route to serve Staten Island and to sail along the west side of Manhattan on the Hudson River.
This new route transports commuters from the northern tip of Staten Island to West 39th Street in Midtown West in just 35 minutes, with a scenic stop in Battery Park City along the way.
St. George
The addition of the new St. George stop gives Staten Islanders a way to shorten their daily commute to and from Manhattan. Tourists and locals alike can now easily access all that Staten Island has to offer, from shopping at the Empire Outlets to exploring the beauty of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center’s Botanical Gardens.
Battery Park City
Ride with NYC Ferry to the Battery Park City landing at Vesey Street and experience the heart and history of Downtown Manhattan. Between Brookfield Place, One World Observatory, and the countless landmarks, museums, and restaurants, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and explore.
The Battery Park City landing is a 25-minute walk from the Pier 11/Wall Street landing where you can find connections to all other NYC Ferry routes. You can also hop on the free Downtown Connection shuttle provided by the Downtown Alliance that can transport you between the landings within 11 minutes.
Midtown West
Go far with NYC Ferry — the only ferry service that directly connects Staten Island to Midtown.
Attend a show at the Javits Center. Admire the beauty of The Vessel. Find your new route to work. The new NYC Ferry landing at West 39th Street landing allows riders a new way to see the west side of the city.
