Passover 2026 Holiday Schedules Operating April 5-7, 2026

From April 5th to April 7th, NYC Ferry will operate a holiday schedule for Passover. We anticipate high ridership throughout the holiday, and this schedule increases capacity across several routes. NYC Ferry will operate a modified weekend schedule on April 5th and a modified weekday schedule on Monday April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th. Here’s everything you need to know about this schedule:

  • The Rockaway-Soundview route will operate more frequently throughout the day. To better serve high ridership in the afternoon, the Rockaway-Soundview route will make stops every 45 minutes in both directions.
  • The East River route will operate as two separate routes at most times during Passover. If your destination is not on your route, you can make a free transfer at DUMBO, Wall St/Pier 11, or East 34th Street.
    • East River A: Wall St/Pier 11 → DUMBO/Fulton Ferry → North Williamsburg → Hunters Point South → East 34th Street
    • East River B: Wall St/Pier 11 → DUMBO/Fulton Ferry → South Williamsburg → Greenpoint → East 34th Street
  • At most times, the South Brooklyn route will not stop at Governors Island and extend to Sunset Park/BAT and Bay Ridge. Please review schedules to plan your trip.
    • On Sunday, April 5th, the South Brooklyn route will not stop at Governors Island and extend to Sunset Park/BAT and Bay Ridge on all trips.
    • On Monday, April 6th and Tuesday, April 7th, the South Brooklyn route will operate between East 34th Street and Governors Island from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. At all other times, the South Brooklyn route will not stop at Governors Island and extend to Sunset Park/BAT.
    • South Brooklyn Extension: Bay Ridge → Sunset Park/BAT → Red Hook/Atlantic Basin → Atlantic Avenue/BBP Pier 6 → Wall St/Pier 11 → Corlears Hook → East 34th Street
  • The Governors Island-Pier 11 shuttle will begin operating at 9:50am. Riders must transfer at Wall St/Pier 11 to access Governors Island. Governors Island closes to the public at 6 pm, so please note the final departure times below.
    • Final departure from Wall St/Pier 11 to Governors Island – 4:08 PM
    • Final departure from Governors Island to Wall St/Pier 11 – 5:20 PM
  • Departure times on the Astoria route will change. Please review schedules to plan your trip from April 5th to 7th.
